Happy owner of a second pair
I just purchased a second pair after 2 and my old pair were getting rough(not the glasses fault) I work construction and am famous for destroying my shades. I’ve never had another pair of glasses last me this long. The build quality is great and the styles are cool. I also have a “fat” head so the spring in the arms is a nice touch, helps prevent me from getting headaches. Overall 10/10 for me I highly recommend these sunglasses!

I purchased this product based on the high amount of reviews and 4 1/2 star rating. Upon receiving my sunglasses I opened up the package not expecting everything that it came with it, A case, Micro fiber cloth, small screw driver. I wore them while I was driving, the difference between these and some random pair of sunglasses I had before was huge! The sun wasn’t beating through the lenses and I could see clearly even with the sun beating through my trucks windshield.. The craftsmanship seems to be great quality! I got them March 27th and it is now April 12th I’ve had no issue thus so far. I constantly take them on and off as I walk in/out of building at work daily, no signs of screws backing out or the arms/frame being bent from put on my hat.. Just wearing them outdoors is great, I can’t say that enough. They’re truly next level and in my opinion there fashionable. I had hard time finding a decent looking pair of sunglasses and I wasn’t looking to break the bank, these don’t come close to breaking the bank.I have seen reviews about lenses being scratched, I have yet to come across that issue.. the lenses seem to hold up pretty well. The Metal frame is also super light weight. So you don’t hardly notice you’re wearing them and there super comfy! Cheap sunglasses have taken down skin off my nose and left my nose in some pain for being so cheap..Overall if you’re wondering if these are the price you’ll pay, I implore you to purchase them and try them cause you won’t want to return them afterwards. The company even stands by their product so much, the sunglasses come with a lifetime warranty! Compare to Oakley’s, you can spend a few hundred bucks for the name but why do that when you get similar quality for a fraction of the cost?So click the buy now button and thank me later!

Rebuttal/follow up to 1st review,▪︎(“Comfortable but not for use near the ocean”)2☆!
Below the line, [at end)] you will see a 2☆ review. This is an accurate review for the purchase.However; upon further research, the reasons why the glasses recieved 2☆ is apparently a common problem for all lenses of the same REVO fashion and not a problem isolated to DUCO. The mirror, and/or blue/REVO hue lenses do not hold up in salty ocean air or salt water. The salt eats the coating!After my first review to Amazon, I contacted DUCO regarding this problem. They were quick to answer me with “Outstanding” customer service. We had many messages back and forth. (All of which were very possitive) Upon their explanation of the lense coating failing in salty conditions, they were forthright in offering me a pair that perhaps do not have the reflective/REVO coating on the lenses. As anyone would, I gladly accepted as you can see from the added two pictures with the black frames. To my surprise, not only did they send me a whole new package with new glasses, new case/cloth and tool, but they also sent a new set of non coated lenses to replace the damaged coated/REVO lenses in my original silver frames. So technically, I now have 2 pais of new glasses! Thank you, DUCO! Way Cool!I mentioned many messages earlier. This was not because of hassle! DUCO has a lifetime warranty and were quick to replace. This was because DUCO was genuinely interested in my opinion and feedback. I suggested maybe using an ultra durable clearcoat for the mirror/coated lenses and they appreciated/considered my input and said they’d pass it on to the design team.They then followed up and messaged back with an idea for a new line and asked my opinion. I thought that was great!DUCO seems to be the type of company we as consumers should consider more often in the future. A company that actually cares enough to not only respond to you, but that makes good on your hard earned money and lives up to their products.I personally like their glasses very much. They are super comfortable, super lite, polarized….and their customer service is the best out there! No exaggeration!I’m tired of spending big money on garbage just because it’s a big name. When I unboxed these today, I was amazed at what you get for the price with a hard and a soft case and the cleaning cloth and tool which looks like a screwdriver. Then I tried them on, and not only do they fit very well, they look great also. I am really surprised at the quality for the price, and will buy more.

Great company to deal with
I destroyed my glasses after having for less than a week. I didn’t secure them properly in a storage container while riding my quad and crushed the nose piece and scratched the lenses beyond use. I contacted the company by email and a rep named Sean listened to my story and after I sent some pictures of the glasses, said he’d send a new pair. Within a week, the new ones have arrived. It’s so refreshing to see a company that responds to their customers and replaces damaged item with no fuss- even when it was completely my mistake. I’d buy from them again in an instant. As for the glasses, they work very well in the bright Alaskan summer sun. No glare at all with their polarization. Can’t wait to use them when I go fishing next week. My bit of advise- always carry the hard case they come with and use it – I have the original glasses case already in the pouch on my quad for my ride tomorrow.

I bought these sunglasses on a whim for Father’s Day for my boyfriend who constantly needs his shades on his sensitive eyes. He’s always bought cheap pairs cause he tends to break them or wears them so much they just break from use, so far although it hasn’t been to long he’s done nothing but thank me and tell me how much he absolutely loves them and is so happy I chose to buy him these sunglasses! He’s recommended them to a few guys at his work who happened to ask him about them noticing they were new from Father’s Day and now has a few of them looking into or already have gotten themselves a pair after trying them on and seeing how well they differ the sunlight compared to other pairs of similar price range! Love these glasses so far and have nothing but positive comments on them, from the case they come in to their own specialty tool they include when you get them you can’t beat them for the price you pay! Well even more then your money worth on this item for sure, thanks for solving his sensitivity to light issue without having him complaining of being uncomfortable or just not liking to wear his glasses always to basically having to take them off of his eyes for me to see his eyes again. Duco Mens Sports Polarized Sunglasses UV Protection Sunglasses for Men 8177sBrown Frame Brown LensI am 70, have astigmatism, need both near and far vision correction (not major), play golf, and do not yet have distance-corrected sunglasses. When using gray/black non-prescription sunglasses, I hit from the tee, the ball goes up and maybe 50 yards, and then disappears in the clouds! So – I have read the brown tint gives better color enhancement and helps to see the ball easier. This is true as tested on three days at the driving range. I could see my ball go up and to the right – over into the other fairway – LOL. This is using range balls – Callaway Practice balls – which may not hit as straight or long as my usual balls. Yesterday I worked hard on keeping my left arm locked straight and saw a few balls go straight and stay on the driving range !FWIW – The Fiore Island Sol Polarized and Non-Polarized Sunglasses Rimless TR90 for Men and Women have slightly better color enhancement (deeper/darker colors) but have not yet tested this on the range. Fiores are lighter and frameless but I wonder if they will last as long as the Ducos.The Ducos are comfortable but slightly heavier but seem like they will last longer.They are firm on the face, but not irritating, and stay in place even with perspiration on a hot and humid day. I have only had them a week, so time will tell.FWIW – I have also read that the non-polarized lenses give better depth-perception, but I have yet to test this with my gray/black polarized lens sunglasses. Next week I hope to play a round on the golf course and may find I can save $3-400 while using my $24 Ducos !

I don’t write many reviews, so this should tell you something. I’m extremely picky about sunglasses and if they fit or not. Also price is a major factor.I have a large head, someone here said they did as well. So size wise they fit pretty well. If they were a little larger then that would be a plus.Frame is actually really nice. It’s actually metal compared to the cheap plastic ones.Lenses are nice and clear. They are polarized. I don’t know if they are scratch resistant or not. I’ll have to do an update one of these days if I happen to drop them.Added perk to the sunglasses is they come with a nice heavy duty case, tool for the screws and a cleaning cloth.Price for these glasses are actually a good value for your dollar. I’ve bought many sunglasses for 5 dollars less to one’s that are 100+ than what I bought these for and they don’t last a week. Let alone a day. So definitely worth the value.All in all I feel as if they are worth it. If they fit my head decently then they will fit yours with out a doubt. I’ll stick with a 4 star until I accidentally drop them and see if they are scratch resistant. If they happen to pass that test then a 4.5 star rating will be owed. If the frame was a little bit wider then I would have bumped it to 5 stars.

The quality is pretty good. I purchased 3 pairs. One of the glasses got beat up in my golf cart so they might not be that durable. They do look great and if you are careful to put them in their cases, they should last a while. I like that the frames are metal and can be shaped to your type of face. The arms have spring in them which is also comfortable. I would buy them again if the price is right.

I purchased the glasses with a gray lens. I liked everything about them except if I was in a shaded area or alley they seemed to be too dark. After I had worn them a while the vendor reached out to me on their own to ask how I liked them. I said they were great except the lens seemed a little too dark in certain light situations. They responded and recommended two or three other lens that they thought might work better for me. I opted for a green lens and they replaced them no questions asked. Love the glasses and above and beyond customer service. I would definitely but from them again.

At last, after trying on a couple dozen glasses, DUCO’s are it!
Whether the sport, or full frame designer make, Duco glasses fit and style are the best sunglasses for me. I have a rather large angular face, and I have ordered and mostly returned a couple dozen pairs. Amazon, forgive me. Glasses are a very personal choice for style, and fit can be vexing online. God, I have tried on so many choices, and kept a couple dozen. There are glasses I would have returned, but alas, I could not find the box they came in. Never, never, order a couple dozen pairs when you have felines that assume they have new toys. I now own a 1/2 dozen I will never wear. I have learned another life lesson, after my first pair of eyeglasses I purchased on the island of Capri. When I could have waited until I returned to my residence in Paris. Capri, is like being trapped on a larger Rodeo Drive. I managed to purchase my first prescription glasses for over a grand. Of course, my insurance would not cover them. When purchasing your first glasses, bring a trusted friend, lest you will agree to everything a lovely salesperson will implore you chose. I was suckered into the same when I purchased a BMW Z4, for my mother. Oh well.I will take photos of my sunglasses in a couple of days, so you may judge. Both pair are brown frames with brown plastic lenses. This year I have been stuck at my home in Florida, praying that I will not be imprisoned for the summer, which should begin within two weeks. Heavy glasses, like my Italian eyeglasses, are exhausting within a few hours. The Duco’s, each coming with a cleaning cloth and attractive molded cases are light weight, and held firm with spring arms. I am thankful for plastic lenses, as I am writing with my tri-level, color adjusting, multi-intensity eyeglasses. Whose eyepads are digging into my nose. The Duco’s both have pads, but do not feel as if they belonged in a gym, with weights on each end. They also do not leave imprints on your face. You can save that area for your face mask. ☆ During our Covid-19 nightmare, heavy glasses are painful where mask ties rub around your ears. The Duco’s are in no way painful, as they are spring loaded, and do not wrap around the ear. The two pair are quite similar, although the designer pair have a full metal frame, and what looks like a far better set of springs on the arms. The metal on the designer pair feels more substantial. I can not say why. For a few dollars more, (both pair are brown frames with brown lenses) the designer pair seem more substantial, better made, and appear that they will last longer. Each are smartly designed, (in Italy) and for the price, I have every color for apparel. As my mother has passed, and left me her Aston Martin convertible, I had to sport James Bond glasses, Italian styles, and perhaps something out of ‘A Clockwork Orange”. I have tried SO many glasses, and without my high end stores open, I have tried almost everything, though Amazon. I am saddened to use the free returns, and you really realize how many glasses you try before you choose. But these are very different days, and I have purchased at least a dozen. The Duco’s, are the largest of my collection, and the least expensive. Very happy with Duco, and the compliments just keep coming. I WILL post photos in next couple days. Great buy!I will try to answer any questions you may have. I have been unhappy with some companies that do not post important sizing. How could you know if the product fits? I do not know if they are truthful about eye protection. Any company. There should be a law stating the true protection of their products. My older eyes would like to know!

Big head? Breaking sunglasses? No problem!
I have a large head. I’ve broken many pairs of sunglasses. Finding a pair that fits is hard.I stumbled across this on amazon one day and bought a pair. They’re solidly built, they look great, they feel great, and they fit my big head. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these.

Like these Polaroid sunglasses. 4****’s only because the glasses are slghtly loose when wearing. And I do not have a small head. They are comfortable and I like the larger field of view besides the design being trendy. Hadn’t had them long enough to see if they are scratch proof. Economical but not cheap
Plan on lens mirror coating to last 3-4 months max… even when using the case that is provided(which is better than the sunglasses). Strange thing about cheap sunglasses, they never get lost in the lake or whatever but your high dollar one’s do…. I just bought another pair but at the current price of $26, up from either $17-$19, no more…

These are definitely lightweight and functional. These are sturdy and blocks a good amount of sunlight while remaining clear enough to see through.

My go-to sunglasses at this point!
I’m fairly sensitive to light, so after I’ve lost my prior sunglasses, I’ve been on the lookout for sunglasses that are dark enough and have plenty of coverage to be used for a range of activities.I tried the duco sunglasses – they look nice, are lightweight, are plenty dark and sit stably.They’re my go-tos for driving, walking, hiking, horseback riding… anything really.The one issue I have is that sometimes my hair gets stuck on the temple pieces, where the rubber coating starts.Oh, and if the sun’s angle is too perpendicular to the ground, you might need a hat with a brim for additional protection, but that’s normal.I’ve had them for a few years, and the only reasons I had to buy more were all on me:- distributing them to different spots for easy reach/backup- lost one- needed a slightly lighter shade for twilight and grey skies- forgot they were on my lap when I got out of the car, they fell down and I stepped on them a bit. Amazingly, the glass actually held up relatively nicely (minor dings), but the frame was bent totally out of shape.The one time a replacement was needed because of manufacturing was when a screw lost all threading and didn’t hold things securely together anymore. I could have just gotten a new screw, in that case, the glasses were actually fine.So, if you’re looking for affordable, sporty, lightweight sunglasses that serve you in a variety of situations and will last you a good long while – look no further 🙂
