These are great reading glasses for serious readers. With progressives, you see the book and the world as well without blurs once you figure out the positioning. The frames are spring loaded so they hold their shape and the style is perfect for any man. The progression spacing is very nice as well.

With standard reading glasses, you can’t see things across the room when you look up from your book. This means most people, including me, read with the glasses on the tip of your nose so you can look over them to see the tv or the person you are talking to.These glasses solve this problem by having the magnification only at the bottom and a clear lens at the top. This works surprisingly well!I find my view of my book (or the menu) crystal clear and I can still look up and see the waiter or my companion clearly! It feels (and looks) much better wearing the glasses normally instead of on the lower part of your nose like a cartoonish geyser.I never knew I needed these but now they are all I use. They are supposed to transition slowly between the magnifications, but I find the middle line to be blurry for both distance and close up vision. It is not a real issue though as I mainly use them looking down at my reading material or up at the distance.

The multifocal property of this glasses took some getting used to and initially it felt uncomfortable especially because this is the first time that I wore this type of glasses. Usually, I just have the reading glasses. But once you trained your eye to utilize the different focal point of these glasses they became very comfortable. The metal frame is light and looks very durable and I like how the hinges can move back further than 90 degrees and allow the arms of the glasses to open wider for a more comfortable fit.The glasses come with a hard plastic storage case that can store both glasses but it only has one soft glass case. It would have been nice if they provided two.

After cataract surgery I have near perfect vision, I just need a little extra when reading or using my computer. After my last eye exam I ordered a pair of progressives through my optometrist, cost was approx $700 although insurance paid about $400 leaving me the balance of $300. These glasses actually provide a better viewing experience due to the blue light blocking. Even watching TV, for which I don’t need glasses, is better while wearing these glasses, the picture is sharper due to the blue light blocking. I’ve worn progressive glasses in the past so there was no “learning curve” to wearing these. The glasses are quite comfortable to wear, they look good and they’re large enough to fit my face fairly well. I normally have to get the widest frames available but with these adjustable hinges, it’s not a problem. At a cost of $12 a pair, I don’t expect these to last as long as my $700 glasses but I don’t care. I can buy 24 pairs of these glasses for the price of one pair through my optometrist. The quality of these glasses compares favorably to any glasses I’ve owned. The glasses came with one soft bag type case, one cleaning cloth and two retainer type things so I don’t loose/drop the glasses. Highly, highly recommended.

I have been looking for progressive readers for a long time. I wear prescription glasses. They are really only readers and clear on top. I thought if I could find some like these that look good I wouldn’t have to pay soooo much for prescription. These are exactly what I wanted. I love that they have the three levels of progression rather that just a bifocal. There’s no line which is a personal requirement. They are nice looking although a bit large for my narrow face. They are really comfortable. I suffer with sinus problems so glasses put more pressure on them. These sit nicely and are easily adjusted. I was able to get them to sit in a comfortable spot. All in all I really recommend these glasses

I like these glasses so that when I’m at work and I’m on the computer I can also get up with glasses on and not have to take them off for put them on top my head to do other things

I have bought dozens of pairs of readers through the years, but these are the first multifocal readers that I’ve ever seen and they are fantastic. They arrived in a nice solid semic clear plastic case and they also come with a couple of neck attachers so that you can let the glasses hang in front of you. There’s also one small velvet case in the package and a couple of cleaners. These are a whole new dimension if you’ve ever worn readers before because they seem to have three focus points. One for close-up, one for distance with no enhancement and one for in between. These are very lightweight but seem well made considering the price.Takes a little while to get used to them, but once you do, if you’re like me, you won’t want to go back to regular readers again. These are just way less of a hassle.

I always prided myself on my perfect eyesight but when I turned 50 practically overnight things become blurry. I’ve tried a few reading glasses but the only work with things close up. Watching tv or even using my laptop was still blurry and I had to put the glasses on my head. The multi focus feature on these glasses mean I can wear them when I am reading, on the laptop or watching tv. I can even wear them walking around which is impossible for other reading glasses that are only good for close up things. They seem sturdy and look good. Come in 2 colors black and a kind of metallic silver. They come in a hard plastic box with 2 elastic cords for hanging the glasses round your neck. I also received a cleaning cloth and a soft cloth pouch.
