Amazon Customer –
Purchased for cycling and couldn’t be happier. Black matte frame with chromed red and pink lenses. Red lens for bright rides and pink for overcast. Ruckus shades are extremely light, the lens quality with chromapop technology is amazing. I would rate this lens technology every bit the equal of Oakley prism lenses. The value added piece is unlike Oakley Sutro or Sutro lites the Smith Ruckus includes two lenses for the same price or slightly less. So far fog free. This was my first Smith Optics purchase and I’m glad I did. Purchase with confidence.

I have a number of Smith sunglasses I use for cycling, these Ruckus sunglasses are a welcome addition.I bought the Matt black frames with the very dark platinum mirror lens, only 12% visible light transmission (VLT). These are perfect for bright summer days, and the larger lens provides excellent coverage.A thin plastic reinforcement runs across the top of the lens, with a slot underneath for ventilation. Although the lens provides more coverage than my older Attack and Pivlock lenses, the width is the same, for a medium overall fit.The platinum lens is great. I’m not sure what the ChromaPop technology does, but everything is crisp and clear, and the grey based lens doesn’t add any weird artificial color tones to the view. The updated Pivlock mechanism works well, as Smith added a reinforcement to the corners of the lens. The original Pivlock simply had a hole drilled in the lens, which was a lot more fragile and fiddly. If you’re not sure which lens to order, I’d recommend the black or platinum, both 12% VLT grey based lenses, or the photochromic, which goes from 20% VLT to completely clear, perfect for those cloudy days, or any low light situation. Finally, I got mine on an Amazon Warehouse deal, 85% off the regular price. I always check for a Warehouse deal when shopping on Amazon, sometimes I get lucky and snap up a real bargain.

Michelle Ritondo –
Love these glasses, extremely easy to switch out the lenses. I use the pink for MTB (low light) and the mirrored/ black ones for more sunny road rides. Both provide excellent eye coverage. They’re light weight and aren’t so big that they cut into my cheeks or anything.

Great bang for buck. Came with a bonus lens so I can use these glasses in sunshine or overcast. Grippy rubber for sports use. Solid storage case.

I use these for cycling. Great field of vision and optics, very lightweight and they stay put. I feel like I’m not even wearing them. I absolutely love them. They’ve solved my eye irritation problems while riding. They also come with clear lenses and a great case. Couldn’t be happier. Would give more stars if I could.
